SonicWall Unveils SonicWave 600 Series Wireless Security

Cybersecurity company SonicWall introduces the SonicWave 600 series, a line of wireless security products that provide secure connectivity for complex multi-device environments.

Powered by Wi-Fi 6 technology, the series’ wireless access points, combined with Wireless Network Manager (WNM) 4.0, provide organizations with secure wireless traffic while improving performance and simplifying connectivity .

“The SonicWave 600 Series offers our global partner community and strategic MSSPs another solution to help protect their customers with secure, easy-to-manage wireless connectivity for the complex environments they operate in,” said Bob VanKirk, President and CEO of SonicWall.

SonicWall’s WNM 4.0 enables enterprises, partners and MSSPs to manage wireless networks.

It leverages the cloud to simplify management of complex environments with a single, unified cloud management portal.

The SonicWave 600 Series can increase overall wireless throughput by up to 4x over Wi-Fi 5 and reduce latency by up to 75%.

Additionally, SonicWave 600 Series features include:

– Powered by Wi-Fi 6 technology, the SonicWave 600 Series helps eliminate the problems of congested wireless networks while ensuring maximum speeds in highly dynamic environments.
– Advanced prevention of cyberattacks. Build trust and block advanced cyberattacks with wireless access points integrated with SonicWall Capture Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) sandbox service, patented real-time deep memory inspection (RTDMI), and deep inspection packages without reassembly.
– Threat detection and removal. Scans all wireless traffic entering and leaving the network using deep packet inspection technology, then removes harmful threats such as malware and intrusions, even over SSL/TLS encrypted connections.
– Reduced downtime. Never let a dropped or interrupted connection affect your business and protect revenue channels with secure, always-on connectivity for distributed networks.
– Ability to build an optimized IoT environment. Design and scale networks capable of connecting dense environments to multiple devices.
– Improvements along the way. Ensure consistency while improving performance and security by upgrading your environment, at your pace and within your budget, to the latest, fully backward compatible technology.

All SonicWave access points, including the new SonicWave 600 series, integrate with cloud-delivered Wireless Network Manager 4.0, which enables monitoring and troubleshooting of wireless and switch access on wireless networks. any size or region.

Designed with MSSPs in mind, the WNM infrastructure simplifies access, control, and troubleshooting by unifying multiple tenants, locations, and zones, while supporting thousands of SonicWave access points and SonicWall network switches, all without the cost of complex layered management systems.

“This advanced offering places greater emphasis on extending the performance of wireless networks with real-time threat mitigation. Enterprises and their end users expect the best in security, performance and real-time analytics, regardless of network type or physical location,” said SonicWall Vice President of Products, Jayant Thakre.

“In today’s fast-paced and increasingly connected world, it is imperative that our environment remains secure while being open to new advancements,” concluded Debasish Mukherjee, vice president of regional sales at SonicWall for Asia Pacific in Japan.
